For a large service provider in the solar energy field, in spring 2025, we have five large-scale solar parks, scattered throughout the Netherlands, were thoroughly cleaned. In total, nearly 145,000 panels dealt with in a trajectory that is over six weeks lasted from April to the end of May.
A smart use of a shift system allowed us to increase the number of hours per day. As a result, the project ran smoothly and efficiently, with minimal impact on daily energy management. We used the Solarcleano L1: our innovative robot cleaner which has a brush system no less than 2.5 metres wide, specially designed for large surfaces on the ground. This allowed us to clean the panels even faster and more thoroughly, with demonstrably higher efficiency as a result.
Through this approach, our client benefits not only from high yields, but also from longer panel life and operational reliability of their solar parks.
